Oh, it only took 9 hours :D

Allow me to take you on this brief tour on how I went about to

turn a draft (of like 5) into a masterpiece ^^

FIRST: I drew out my drawing, then masked it with 811 removable tape & a sharp xacto knife!

SECOND: Lay down the darkest color, which here would be.. black! (:
Be very careful with the white parts of the board, I had to start over because I smuged

THIRD: Take off the masking and see how pretty it is! (:

FOURTH: Re-mask, because now we're going to lay down the blue paint (:

FIFTH: Paint, duh. LOL


SIXTH: Re-mask, again.. LOL. This time we're doing the red checkers.
Make sure that you that your are precise in masking, one mistake can be @__@
My best advice is to mask..everything lmao.



SEVENTH: paint paint paintEIGHTH: Reveal and go o0o0o LOL

NINTH: Mask.. AGAIN. LMAO.
This time we're going to do yellow.

(for some reason I just felt like I had the need to cover.. every single spot... just go with your gut feeling :D)

TENTH: paint paint paint!!! :D
( I Made a mistake here, I should have painted yellow first. because the red was seeping thru and what have u, docked points with my technical skills =[)

As you can see, after I lifted the tape off, a lot of the yellow residue was left behind =[
So the only thing that can save you now

...is a steady hand

Patience & Total Focus.
(no masking, all freehand at this point)

Now I have to clean up my mess XDDD

So this whole process took me about 10 hours... including clean up time which was an hour. x.X being a designer is quite intenseee LOL!!!
